G-SEAI intent to support creating of Voluntary Groups in schools under the name of “Friends of Hygiene”. With an aim to create awareness about health related issues to students, teachers and the common masses.

The specific objectives or focus of the ‘FRIENDS OF HYGIENCE’ is primarily on Hygiene, Sanitation, Healthy Food habits, Physical activities etc. & to develop a health monitoring system through online “Digital Health Card”

• To promote Healthy Lifestyles and Hygiene among pupil.
• To promote a healthy school environment.
• To encourage outreach to the home and community.
• To encourage children to take up leadership roles and responsibilities.
• To provide Sanitary Napkin Vending Machine & Incinerator if required in schools located in remote areas.
